Keep Tennessee Beautiful Awards
Thank you to Keep Tennessee Beautiful and Tennessee Department of Transportation's Nobody Trashes Tennessee for honoring Keep Chester County Beautiful with two awards this week at the 40th Annual Biennial Keep Tennessee Beautiful Conference. KCCB received first place for the Litter Grant Education Program, and second place for the Public Education Award, for a total of $8,000 in funding. The money received will go to the education and outreach program for Keep Chester County Beautiful and the West Tennessee Regional Recycling Hub.

West Tennessee Regional Recycling Hub Receives Grant to Improve Recycling Facility
The West Tennessee Regional Recycling Hub announced a new matching grant awarded from The Recycling Partnership in the amount of $495,000. The partial required match of $330,000 increased the grant to $825,000. These funds will expand the materials recovery facility (MRF) to collect more recyclables and more efficiently process the collected materials. The Hub, a regional collaboration heavily supported by Chester County, was selected because of its dedication to advancing recycling in the region. >More Info
Keep Chester County Beautiful Receives Awards of Excellence Grants
MEMPHIS, Tennessee – TDOT recently recognized 16 winners of the Keep Tennessee Beautiful Awards of Excellence Grant Competition, presenting a total of $47,000 in grants to environmental leaders across the state. Keep Chester County Beautiful was honored with four awards, for a total of $14,000 in funding. Executive Director Amber Greene, KCCB, received the Martin L. Kennedy Award for Outstanding TN Keep American Beautiful Affiliate Coordinator. >More Info

The Chester County Solid Waste & Recycling Department has five convenience centers, one recycling building, and a city transfer station. All five convenience centers are located throughout the county for residents to use for solid waste and recycling. The Solid Waste & Recycling Department offers a free shredding paper service for the Public and Businesses in Chester County.
Our main location is Talley Store Road where the West TN Regional Recycling Hub and City Transfer Station are located.
