As the mayor of Chester County, I want to welcome you to our community. Thank you for visiting us and taking the time to learn more about Chester County! I was born in Henderson, TN to Kenneth and Betty (Johnson) Hutcherson and raised in Finger, TN. I married Sherry Maness in 1984. We have two daughters Jennifer Franzen and Hayley Meek and a granddaughter Khloe Franzen.

I am so proud to be a part of this community. I have served as a county commissioner, the Republican Party chairman, Lions Club president, and Dixie Youth softball coach. I was owner of Hutcherson Services, a directional boring company for underground utilities. Throughout my career I have also been an award-winning insurance salesman, a plumber, and an electrician. I also helped my wife’s parents, Buel “Snookum” Maness and the late Betty Maness, establish Snookum’s Steakhouse in 1994 where I still cook delicious steaks.   

I am excited and thankful for the opportunity now to serve Chester County as their Mayor. It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to our community! I am sure you will agree that Chester County is a great place to call home.
